Idiot Vet's Office in Olathe, Kansas Loving ProHeart 6

To the idiot vet's office in Olathe, Kansas, that thinks they can speak for the *reported* 5,500 dogs who were affected and the *reported* 500+ dogs who died from ProHeart 6 when it was first on the market in full force and won't allow for comments to be posted to their article:

Unless these idiots were in all the thousands of homes of all the pet guardians whose dogs were affected and/or died from ProHeart 6 to "other disease processes," they need to shut their pie hole. I know they weren't in my household!

Here's a quick summary of what happened in my home:

1. One dog, ~ 4 years old; healthy; nothing but ProHeart 6 shot given. Dead in less than two months from immune mediated hemolytic anemia.

2. One dog, 2 years old; healthy; nothing but ProHeart 6 shot given. Survived with a compromised immune system and on medication for life.

3. One dog, ~ 11 years old; healthy; ProHeart 6 shot given in conjunction with vaccines (vaccines were supposed to be "safe" when given in conjunction with ProHeart 6). Dead in less than four months.

What the idiot vet in Colorado never mentioned to me in the first place was that senior dogs don't need any vaccines or any of this CRAP!

Buyer beware as it appears the poison will be back on the market in full force soon. If you need heartworm "prevention" for your dogs, stick with the oral methods that have been on the market for over 20 years. At least if your dog has an adverse reaction, the drug will be out of the dog's system in a matter of days.

Once the ProHeart 6 shot has been given, it permeates all the body's organs in 24 hours. The chemicals are there to STAY.

This is NOTHING BUT A MONEY-MAKER FOR THE MANUFACTURER AND THE VETS. See our previous note about if you need reminders giving your dogs their medications or heartworm "preventatives." The manufacturer of ProHeart 6 will be preying on your inability to remember to give your dogs their heartworm "prevention."
